Tools Required: 1/2 inch wrench or socket, pliers,
possibly a 15/16 inch socket.

Step 1: Remove The Trunk Latch - Estimated Time: 10 Minutes
The trunk latch needs to be removed to gain access to he nut that
holds the trunk lock sleeve in place. The trunk latch is held
in place by two bolts but if it's removed then it will have to be
aligned when it is put back on. Tip - Remove
one bolt and loosen the other just enough such that the trunk latch
can be pivoted out of the way. That way alignment won't be
necessary.

Step 2: Remove The Trunk Lock Sleeve - Estimated Time: 10
Minutes
With the trunk latch out of the way the nut that holds the trunk
lock sleeve in place can now be accessed. It's hard to reach
but it shouldn't be on tight. If you can't get it started with
the pliers then use a 15/16 socket. When the nut is off
you can remove the spacer and the trunk lock sleeve.

Step 3: Remove The Trunk Lock - Estimated Time: 10 Minutes
This is the only trick to the whole procedure. Note that there
is a small pin that prevents the lock from being removed from the
sleeve. Insert the key and turn it 1/8 turn clockwise.
At that point the pin can be depressed. With the pin depressed
the lock can be removed by pushing it out of the sleeve.
